Surprise! Happy 50th, Scott!

People.com reports about a surprise 50th birthday party for Scott Hamilton thrown on Sunday in Los Angeles. He was blindfolded en route from the airport to a private residence in Los Angeles where the party was held. Brad Paisley and wife, Kimberly Williams Paisley, were in on the surprise. The event included about 150 guests.

Joining the festivities were skating and Dancing with the Stars champ Kristi Yamaguchi and her husband, NHL hockey player Bret Hedican, William Shatner, singer Michael Adair (aka Meatloaf), Kevin Sorbo, Monty Python comedian Eric Idle and Olympic decathlon champ Bruce Jenner.

I can't believe Scott Hamilton is 50 years old! Sounds like a great event, and much deserved for such an icon.
