Daisuke Takahashi Withdraws from Cup of China

Looks like we will have to wait to get our first glimpse of World 2007 Silver Medalist Daisuke Takahashi in the Grand Prix this season; he has withdrawn from Cup of China because of a knee injury, according to the Internationl Herald Tribune. Takahashi is next scheduled to compete in NHK Trophy in Tokyo at the end of November. Let's hope he can get well enough to compete in that event! Losing him from Cup of China takes away some of the luster of the event. Not sure yet who is replacing him...
