Harding Back in the Boxing Ring

Right around the 15th anniversary of the attack on Nancy Kerrigan, Tonya Harding will be heading back to the boxing ring for a fight at the Martial Martial Arts Extreme Cage Match War. The fight will take place at the scene of the crime - Detroit.

From the Detroit Free Press:

Since the notorious incident, Harding, now 38, has been in and out of legal trouble, and has tried to remake her life. She turned to celebrity boxing in 2002. In December 2007, she appeared in a mixed martial arts competition called "Season's Beatings" in Kansas City, Kan.

Incidentally, Harding's appearance in the Detroit area will be on the same day the women's long program will be contested at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Cleveland.

Tickets for the Palace event, which starts at 7 p.m. on the 24th, presented in part by Donofrio Entertainment, are $10 to $50 and are available at Palacenet.com, the Palace box office and all Ticketmaster locations.
