Ice Dancing Silver Medalist Tanith Belbin (along with partner Ben Agosto) mentioned that the pair was downgraded on their twizzles last night. I do not know enough to understand why that was, I thought their twizzles were good but I didn't slow-mo them or anything. I can't find an article that explains why the pair didn't receive the levels they expected, so if anyone knows, please comment! Obviously, that could have won the gold medal for the Americans. I'd also love to hear any thoughts on the Domnina and Shabalin routine - I have a feeling it looked better in person than on television (like a Carolina Kostner routine?).
