Mao Asada Off to School

Here is a video of the "entrance" ceremony for Mao Asada at Cyukyo University in Japan. She is adorable. I am not sure if she is starting now and then taking time off for next season or what her plans are. She had a press conference but she talked a lot more about skating and the Olympics than she did about studying. When asked what she wanted to do day to day at school she said she wanted to try something like "manicure and pedicure." I don't know if she meant she wants to get a manicure and pedicure or study manicure and pedicure, but I'm not sure if it's that type of school. We know Mao likes to take care of her nails, though.

She also wants to study Russian to communicate better with her coach, Tatiana Tarasova. She looks so young off the ice. Adorable.
