Tonya Harding on Oprah
I didn't see it but here is a write-up and video clip from Jezebel of Tonya Harding's appearance on Oprah yesterday. She talks about how her husband's hired hitmen were trying to make money as security people by whacking Nancy Kerrigan's knee, thus scaring all the little skaters who would then need protection. Uh huh. It had nothing to do with an obsession over Kerrigan's endorsement potential. I also love that Harding only ever apologized to Kerrigan when she was on television (and more than likely getting paid a ton for it), but admitted to never having apologized to her on her own by phone. Or something. Nice!

If your spouse did something stupid how many times would you apologize? Yes, she was afraid to turn them in – she was young and scared. Move on

If you think Tonya didn’t know a thing was going on prior to the attack, then you’re in Never-Never Land. She knew all along, she’s getting what she deserves.
