Mirai Nagasu on the Cover of Sports Illustrated for Kids

2008 U.S. National Champ Mirai Nagasu graces the cover of Sports Illustrated for Kids in May. She appears to have a very cute haircut (I never see her with her hair down). Pasadena Star-News reports that Nagasu's coach Charlene Wong has a comment about her pupil: "I think she's more comfortable as a school girl who skates than as a skater who goes to school." That's nice to hear. I'm so impressed by these skaters who taking such challenging course loads and still spend hours in the rink each day as well. Takes more discipline than I have...
