Coaching Switch of the Day: McLaughlin and Brubaker!

UPDATE: Should actually have titled this "coaching switch of the minute." or something.

Wow, another coaching switch. Per Examiner.com, U.S. Pairs Champs Keauna McLaughlin and Rockne Brubaker are switching coaches, from Dalilah Sappenfield to John Nicks (!) who used to coach Tai Babilonia and Randy Gardner. He's also coached Sasha Cohen and U.S. pairs champs Jenni Meno and Todd Sand (who were recently announced and pair Inoue and Baldwin's new coaches) and JoJo Starbuck and Ken Shelley.

"We needed a change, a big change," McLaughlin said. "This is going to be one of the toughest years for us, having it be our first Olympic season, and we felt comfortable going with someone that had that experience."

I can see going with someone with a bit more experience. I wonder if it will work for this pair, who did not perform as many hoped that they would last year. Who is next in the coaching change lineup??
