NBC Adds Four Years to Figure Skating Coverage

Per Philip Hersh: NBC has added four more years to its figure skating coverage, extending its contract to 2014 to air coverage of Skate America and the U.S. Figure Skating Championships.

I recently blogged about the upcoming USOC network on Comcast and how it might eventually affect figure skating, but it looks like it won't have any potential for effect for years to come. Keeping skating on network television is definitely a good thing (even though it is such a teeny tiny amount that they air...).
