Good on Ashley to get this chance to represent the U.S., although disappointing for Rachel and Alissa. If you had asked me before the season if Mao Asada could possibly not skate in the Grand Prix finals I would have said, ‘no way no matter what.’ And with Queen Yu-Na having had a crises of confidence at Skate America everything now seems up for grabs. What an interesting season.
