It Begins: Belbin and Agosto Out of Grand Prix Final

Some bloggers I've read were predicting that it was only a matter of time before something knocked Belbin and Agosto out of the Grand Prix Final. And they were right. This time, it's an infected wisdom tooth for Belbin, last year it was a back injury for Agosto. Yikes. Apparently she has been advised to avoid strenuous activity for a week, according to LA Times. Let's hope her mouth is ok.

Is this a reason to stay out of being bested by their competion the same way Sasha Cohen’s “injury” is?

I have no idea what the real deal is…I have a feeling that such an injury would not keep these two out of worlds or the Olympics, though. But, Grand Prix Final seems to have its fair share of withdrawals, so I guess it’s the expendable competition. Hopefully B&A will be hard at work even if they are not competing, because they need some higher scores asap.
