Plushenko Injured

Reigning Olympic Gold Medalist Evgeny Plushenko has injured himself and is taking a break from training, according to the Associated Press. It's a knee injury; Plushenko has been plagued with knee problems.

The article says that Plushenko has been training quad-quad and triple axel/quad combinations. I am not the biggest Plushenko fan but I do admire his attempts to do such ridiculous combinations. But maybe he needs to chill so he can at least make it to the Olympics. The article states that Plushenko still hopes to compete in the Russian Nationals at the end of the month.
