Kim Changes Training Venues
Yu-na Kim changed training venues in Toronto, according to Chosun Ilbo. Per the site:
Kim Yu-na has moved from the Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club, where she had been training for four years, to the Granite Club in Toronto.
Shae-Lynn Bourne works at Granite Club, and she is choreographing Kim's short program this season. Kim is still a member of the Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club.

Good Move By Kim Yu-na.
Since the messy split with Brian Orser there really hasn’t been much reason for Kim Yu-na to keep training at the rink where he’s in charge. It isn’t like she’d have much trouble finding a new locale for her workouts. i’m hoping now that she’ll decide what she wants to do with her career, find a coach she’s comfortable with and keep dazzling us with new routines, whether as a competitor or professional.
Mother may I?
What a messy way to split with a great coach. I feel that Yuna’s mother may not always know what’s best, like Surya Bonaly’s mother didn’t, but I hope it doesn’t disrupt the Queens ability to rule the ice. I look forward to her new programs. I think she can actually improve her skating, and that’s a lot to say of someone as good as she is.
