Kavaguti and Smirnov to Miss Europeans

PrintYuko Kavaguti and Alexander Smirnov will miss the European Championships. Smirnov recently had his appendix removed, according to RT, and will not be able to prepare fully for the competition. The pair also missed the Russian championships so that Smirnov could heal from a leg injury.
