Plushenko Threatens Withdrawal

PrintNews out of England today is that Evgency Plushenko is still dealing with injuries. He won the preliminary round at the European Championships but he says he needs another knee surgery.
Plushenko is saying that he has only a 50-50 chance of competing at the world championships.
According to the International Skating Union, Plushenko landed a "shaky" quad toe, two triple axels and three more triples to lead the qualifying round. He also said he pulled a muscle in practice.
