ANNND she won it handily, by more than 20 points. Kim scored a 128.11 in the free skate to get her total to 191.75. Japan's Miki Ando won second place. with a 170.88. Laura Lepisto of FInland was third with a 159.42.
And in an ever-so-close ice dancing competition, 2008 European Champions Oksana Domnina and Maxim Shabalin edged the Americans Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto 186.77 to 186.41. AUGH! So close. Each segment of the competition was hard-fought between these two couples. Domnina and Shabalin won the Compulsories by more than a point, which seems to have made the major difference, because Belbin and Agosto won the original dance by less than a point, and the free dance scores were 91.19 to 91.18 in favor of the Russians. Russia's Jana Khokhlova and Sergei Novitski were third with a 179.50.
