Czisny, Davis & White Win at Nebelhorn; Full Results

American champ Alissa Czisny just managed to eke out a win at the Nebelhorn Trophy this weekend, despite being downgraded for most of her triple jump attempts, according to Examiner.com. According to the article, Czisny also lost points on her double axel attempts and off of her spiral sequence. Not an ausipicious start to the season, especially considering that Czisny is not even using a new program; she's using her Doctor Zhivago free skate again this season.

Finland's Kiira Korpi held onto second place, but the story, per Examiner, was China's Yan Liu, who won the free skate and the bronze medal with six triples. Hungary's Julia Sebestyen was fourth. See the full results here.

In the men's category, Switzerland's Stephane Lambiel won the competition handily and earned Switzerland a spot in the 2010 Olympics. American Ryan Bradley had to settle for fourth. Full results are at Universal Sports.

Germany's Aliona Savchenko and Robin Szolkowy won the pairs competition, with Ukraine's Tatiana Volosozhar and Stanislav Morozov coming in second, and Canada's Anabelle Langlois and Cody Hay winning the bronze, per CTV.

And Americans Meryl Davis and Charlie White won the ice dancing competition, as expected, see Examiner for more. The beat the next couple by 15 points.
