French couple Nathlanie Pechalat and Fabian Bourzat are in second with only a 1.1 lead over third place couple from Great Britain, Sinead and John Kerr. Americans Samuelson and Bates do not appear to be doing well; they came in sixth in the original dance (and stand more than 20 points behind the leaders), while American teammates Kimberly Navarro and Brent Bommentre placed fourth in the OD.
