Well, Japan's Nobunari Oda really skated away with the title today, winning the free skate by about 15 points with his snappy Chaplin routine. It was my favorite performance of the night. Czech Republic's Tomas Verner, who was leading going into the free skate, really seemed to run out of steam early. He finished in second place. And America's Adam Rippon put in a not perfect but well done free skate to hang on for third place! What a difference a year makes - Rippon is looking great, and his joy at winning a medal was contagious! Unfortunately, the United States's Ryan Bradley did not fare well in Paris, coming in ninth.
