Well, well, well, the American newbies are looking to make their marks at Skate Canada. And it's a perfect opportunity for them. Marissa Castelli and Simon Shnapir are in SECOND place going into the free skate in the pairs competition (although 2nd through fifth place are fairly close). That's promising. And miss senior Grand Prix debut Agnes Zawadzki is in third place in the ladies competition, which is also very close at the top. Unfortunately, Switzerland's Sarah Meier had to withdraw.
