The French Masters was held last weekend, and it's always interesting to watch since there tend to be some French skaters contending for the bigger prizes throughout the year. Icenetwork has a detailed article on the various skaters.
During the offseason, Brian Joubert decided to return to Veronique Guyon, the coach who "discovered" him. Joubert has two new programs (thank god) and won the event. I can't wait to check out what he's got going on this season.
During the offseason, Vanessa James and Yannick Bonheur split (very sad...they were ones to watch) and Adeline Canac and Maxim Coia also split. So Bonheur teamed up with Canac. And they won the event! James is still skating as well, with new partner Morgan Cypres.
