Canada's Virtue and Moir have slightly lengthened their lead over Americans Davis and White after the Original Dance portion of the ice dancing competition at the world championships. It seems the pendulum has truly swung over towards the Canadians. I assume that they will win out tomorrow as well in the free dance, but hopefully Davis and White will hold on for second. Americans Samuelson and Bates have unfortunately dropped out of the top ten after the original dance. If they lose another slot, America will be back to having only two spots at the next world championships. Americans Navarro and Bommentre are in 13th place.
Full standings after the jump.
