News sources are reporting that Olympic gold and silver and silver medalist Evgeny Plushenko has left his political career in St. Petersburg to begin training for the Sochi 2014 Olympics.
Plushenko had been elected to St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly in 2007.
Plushenko could not beat Evan Lysacek in 2010, but quads are king again. But I can't imagine Plushenko will be as physically strong as he was in 2010 and he will still have lower components than a Patrick Chan even if he lands his quads. But I also doubt Chan will be able to throw together clean programs in the Olympics. So what I'm saying is, I have no idea how competitive Plushenko will or will not be. What do you think?
