The International Skating Union is making the decision on what to do with the Tokyo world championships tomorrow. Several country federations are making their own decisions already. According to ESPN, Germany will not be sending its skaters to Japan even if the championships take place, due to the travel advisory against it. Apparently, the Japanese skating federation is requesting that the championships take place as scheduled.
Skate Canada has stated that the decision whether or not to travel to Japan (should there be a decision to make) will rest with the athletes themselves.
