News out of Canada today is that Shawn Sawyer has decided to pass on the World Championships in order to skate with Stars on Ice (seriously, that just sounds ridiculous to me but maybe he figures he's not going to medal anyway?). Meanwhile, Myriane Sampson has suffered a knee injury and will be replaced by Amelie Lacoste.
