U.S. National Champion Ryan Bradley has retired from competitive skating. Bradley was considering retirement after coming in fourth at last year's nationals and just missing the Olympic team. He says his fan base encouraged him to try one last time for that national title.
According to the Associated Press:
“I am looking forward to staying involved in the sport of figure skating,” said Bradley, who plans to retain his eligibility. “I want to use my knowledge and passion to keep the sport moving in the right direction.”
Congratulations to Bradley on his long career and his great attitude throughout. He definitely provided one of the heartwarming moments at this year's national championships.
