From the sounds of the Tweeters, Virtue and Moir came out with more attack than reigning world champs Davis and White and were rewarded with a season's best score. Unfortunately for Davis and White, they are more than a point back off of Virtue and Moir which is actually a lot to make up when you are talking about these two teams, who are always so close. So the Olympic champs may be poised to retake their title.
Sounds like the Shibutanis had a slight error which set them way back so they are unlikely to repeat on the podium this season, but it may be a battle for bronze anyway. And it sounds like Pechalat and Bourzat were not bothered by her broken nose...though I can't believe how close they are to the leaders, but I guess I will have to watch it later. They do have the advantage of being the home team.
