Wow, Volosozhar and Trankov turned this into a competition by roaring back in the free skate and ALMOST beating Savchenko and Szolkowy. Nice. Pang and Tong could not hold on and ended up sixth in the free. And Takahashi and Tran take home a bronze medal for Japan.
